Village Crime Fighters is a WhatsApp group set up to keep participants up to date with any suspicious activity and crime in and around Nash and Boraston.
It is important that we all follow a number of guidelines to maintain the effectiveness of information and the continued engagement of group members:
- The Group is open to residents of Nash and neighbouring parishes only (see map)
- New members must be known to at least two existing members or be verified by group admins
- Do not post anything that is not related to criminal or suspicious activity and anti-social behaviour
- Do not respond to any post other than to add further potentially relevant information
- Do not post responses using just emojis or thanks etc (emoji reactions are OK)
- The group cannot be used for reporting crimes/incidents to the police
- Please do not use inappropriate language or descriptive terms no matter how mad you feel
It is recommended that you change the notification tone on your phone to a unique sound to distinguish the group messages as urgent.
